My name is Melanie. Today I went outside and played with my sister, Bella on the swings and I played soccer with her. My dress was bothering me earlier but now it is better. I get upset with my tubes sometimes, but i am glad i have a g-tube so when my tummy hurts, I can suck it out. I am also glad to have a j-tube because if I did not I would have to take my meds by mouth. I am glad to have a ostomy because when I did not my tummy hurt alot. My mom told me that i would roll around on the floor because my tummy hurt so bad. We have a dog named Chocolate and he is 11 years old. He does not bite or lick my tubes but Sometimes he smells my tubes and I think he does to make sure it is me. If anybody who reads this has tubes, I have a question: do you ever get upset about your tubes? I can wear normal clothes now when I am off the pump. In the morning I wear special dresses that sometimes hurt but are very soft. I am 13 years old and I am 4 ft 10 and 1/2 inches. I love playing outside and playing with legos and my Aston Drake realistic dolls, Grace and Natalie. I love school and I am learning lots. I have 4 siblings: Bella who is 6 yr old and 3 brothers Brandon who is 15, Ethan who is 11 and Jacob who is 3. My sister Bella is a monkey full of energy but she has lots of love. My brother Jacob, loves Ping (the duck), blocks and is making us laugh more and more each day. My brother named Ethan loves math playing with his friends across the street. Last but not least is Brandon. He likes listening to music, helping his siblings feel better and sleeping. I have friends and am happy :). I love my siblings very much and love playing with them.

My big brother Brandon has a job at Culvers. I don't have much to write about. Bella and Jacob have hand foot and mouth. They have a rash on their face and they are taking a medicine for it. What do you call cheese that is not yours? Nacho cheese. Why did the boy bring a ladder to school? He wanted to go to high school. Where do pencils go for vacation? Pencil-vania. Why did the girl smear peanut butter on the road? To go with the traffic jam. What did the mushroom say to the fungus? You're a fun guy (fungi). What did 0 say to 8? Nice belt! What do elves learn in school? The elf-abet! Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate (8) 9. Why do bananas have to put on sunscreen before they go to the beach? Because they might peel! Mom and Bella went to CC today. Maybe tomorrow I might be able to babysit Quinn, our neighbors baby. I am still babysitting Naomi a one year old, who i still love to babysit. i love her!

Today i have been doing school. I also went outside with the neighbors. If you have any other ideas what i should write about or ideas for jokes let me know. I think i should tell some baby jokes. Why does a mother carry her baby? The baby can't carry the mother. When a baby is learning to eat shouldn't he have a L-plate? Now horse jokes. Why was the horse all charged up? It ate some haywire. What is the slowest racehorse in the world? A clotheshorse. Why is a racehorse like a letter? They both begin a trip to the post. Why did the boy stand behind the horse? He thought he might get a kick out of it. Where do you take a sick horse? To the horspital. Now that is it for the jokes. Does anyone reading this like babies? Today we had daycare for a little girl. She is cute and very sweet and i love her. She is crawling now and getting very mobile. She is also very chubby and the cutest 11 month old ever. She loves to play and tries to stack blocks. I might blog more then once in a day because it is starting to get hotter out and so instead i might blog a few times a day. I am 15 now. I got a lot of lego and playmobil sets. I love playmobil and lego so much. I will blog more tomorrow. Tomorrow i will do more jokes and check to see if anyone has any requests for what jokes for me to do.

Today i am going to take care of Lace in the afternoon while it is raining. So no specific requests for jokes? How about animal jokes or family jokes or maybe even tree jokes? i will do one of each of these. Why did the leaf go to the doctor? because it was feeling green. What do you call a fish without a eye? fsh. Why aren't kolas actual bears? they don't meet the koalaficatons. Today is a rainy day:( Wish it was not.

Today it is sunnier then yesterday. Next Tuesday i have a concert for Handbells. Some of my neighbors and friends are coming to my concert. I would usally be nervous but i am not. I am excited. We have been praticeing for a long time to get the songs right. One of the songs used to be very tricky for me. Now it is very easy. Before the concert we are going to pratice for a hour to try to get it right. Blog more later today or tomorrow.

Today the neighbor baby came over. She wanted me to hold her. A lot of times when i set her down she would either say no no no or cry and reach for me. I hope it was just because she was tired. It has only been 3 days but i still seems like i have not seen the other neighbor baby in forever. I miss her! If anybody wants me to make a rug for them no problem. Just email me if you want that and you can tell me what pattern you want for your rug. It sometimes takes a while for me to complete them. Especially when they are big ones.

Yesterday I had the neighbor babies. they can both crawl everywhere now and are getting curious about everything. Especially the stuff they can not touch. Like outlets and the school drawers and cords that are plugged into outlets and the black bench that keeps them from falling down the stairs. Cossette still like to "help" fold towels. She also like to play with the baskets the towels were in. i was holding one of them standing up then I put her down because i needed to move the other one away from the stove. While i did that she cried and cried. She does not usally do that. She made me hold her for a while until she had to go home. Today i played outside with the neighbors and the neighbor baby slept most of the time. She eventually woke up and swinged in the swing for a while. Poor girl has a runny nose and watery eyes and eyes that look like they are sick. I was sad that i could not hold her. She wanted me and i wanted her. In a couple days when she is better i can hold her. So it is not like it is going to be forever before i can hold her. My siblings are older now. Brandon is 17. I am 15. Ethan is 13. Bella is 8. Jacob is 4 and 1/2. (He will be five in September.) Our dog Chocolate is 13 yrs old in human years. 68 in dog years. I am getting a haircut today and i might go clothes shopping with my mom. I will blog more later today or maybe tomorrow or Monday. I will try to remember to write on my blog every other Saturday because every other Saturday i have IvIg.

Today the daycare baby is here. She has a bit of a runny nose and a cough. She is not too crabby. Her eyes were droppy and looked tired and sick. She can pull herself up to stand in her playpen now. But she does not know how to sit back down. If anyone has any fun ideas of what i can do inside when it is too hot or when i do not have a baby to play with let me know. Here are some weather jokes. One for each season. They are all in order of seasons. What often falls in the winter but never gets hurt? snow. What season is it when you are on a trampoline? Spring time. Today it is too hot for me outside. I might be able to go in the pool but i will have to see. Cossette might be able to come over to play with me since it is too hot. I hope she can come and play. Outside it is like 95-96 out and humid which makes it feel warmer. Earlier today i went to IVIG. I came home late this afternoon. I might blog more later telling if Cossette came over.

Today it is hot again. Yesterday the daycare baby got to come over. She came at 4:30 and stayed until 6:00. I have been inside all day. It is not fun staying inside. So far all i have done today is go to church and make a recipe but that is it. If anybody have any ideas of what i can do when i can not go outside and it is too hot let me know. I am going to go try swimming in the pool in the shade for a bit. I will blog more later maybe to tell you how it went.

Today we are back to school after the weekend. For those of you who do not know this Thursday i am having surgery to replace my J-tube. I am not going completely asleep. (that is what it sounds like) I think i will just be given some medicine to numb the pain but i am not sure. It sounds like that might be how it is going to go. I will blog on Wednesday in cause if i am not here in the morning to tell you. Maybe after i come home from it i might blog but i might be sleepy so i may end up blogging on Friday instead. I have got to go work in school now. Blog maybe later today

Today was my surgery. I was first case. Me and my mom left at 6:00 this morning. My mom was going to wake me up at 5:30 but she slept later then she wanted to. It went good. I was put completey asleep with anesthesia. I went back to surgery by myself. I was not scared. My mom said i spoiled the doctors by smiling being happy and laughing. When i went back into the OR one of the nurses said that another nurse had told her i was beautiful and she said that the other doctor was right and that i was beautiful. They also loved the picture and snowflake i gave them that i made. I had a surprise visiter. Her name is Kendra. She brought me flowers and a present. It was a circle puzzle with 500 pieces. If anybody does not want me to talk about them on my blog just let me know. Because if someone does not want me to talk about them i will not. Instead i will put a different name in replace of the real name. Any more requests for jokes or anything else?

Today i am going to start putting little bits of the stories that i made up. This one is called The Lost Orphans. Once upon a time there were four orphans. There names were Jenny Makyla Pearl and Kylie. They lived together outside at a place they called the grey wall. It was a spot behind a bakery. They ate the food that fell off the trays when the baker brought the trays out to dump the food into the trash. If people had not finished something like a cupcake they would split between them. Every day they tried to find somewhere they could stay to be warm and provided food and had a comfy spot to sleep. But they never did. All they found were a couple of old benches or they found a old blanket to lay on the sidewalk. Neither was very comfy. Finally one day....... Come back tomorrow to hear more about The Lost Orphans.

Here is more of the lost orphans. Finally one day....when they were just going for a walk, someone noticed Pearl out the window walking and looked for a adult but did not see one. (The other girls went to go find a place to sleep for the night) Kylie knocked on the door. A little girl answered the door. "Who are you" asked the girl puzzled. "We are orphans and do not have a home" They each introduced themselves, telling their name age and how long they had not had a home. "Oh" exclaimed the little girl."Would you like to come in and eat? You must be starving" As soon as the girls walked into the house they smelled the wonderful smell of chicken nuggets and ketchup. It smelled sooo good. "My parents are not home. They left me in charge of the food and my baby sister. She is upstairs sleeping" Then all of a sudden there was a thump that sounded like it came from above them....... Come back soon to read more about the Lost Orphans. I wonder what that thump was coming from above them. hmm. Maybe there is a secret animal or person who made that thump. We will have to see when i come back to write more of the Lost Orphans dun dun dun. Drum roll that lasts for 1 to 5 days please. I might blog more tomorrow. More of The Lost Orphans. "I am going to go check on my sister. My name is Chloe and my sisters name is Makenzie. She is 5 weeks old." She hurried to go check on Makenzie. Chole came down crying. "What's the matter Chole?" Asked Pearl waiting for her to speak up. "My sister. "She-shes" said Chole in between sobs. "She is not breathing. I just don't know what to do. More of the Lost Orphans. "I know how to help. One time i found a piece of paper that said what to do if someone was not breathing." After a hour Makenzie was back to breathing and fell asleep. "Thank you for helping my baby sister." said Chole smiling. "You are welcome." said Pearl shyly. Why are you shy?" Chole questioned curiously. You better go check on her." So Chole went upstairs to check on her. She came back with little blonde-haired Makenzie. She was crying. "i am going to feed her then see if she will play. i just got out of the hospital yesterday. i have been having a lot of output from my ostomy and we don't know why. i got a fever on Wednesday eveing so my mom brought me to the emerency room. i had surgery for them to try and figure out what is going on with this output and we got no answers. i am still recovering so i will not be writing more of the Lost Orphans. i have been laying down all afternoon. i have been doing all kinds of different things. Like puzzles and drawing and coloring.

More of the Lost Orphans "That is really exciting that she can eat baby food" Chole said back to Pearl" She was not very interested the first time. She took the baby food and put it on her face and laughed and then put her whole face into her baby food including her hair. One time she fell out of her highchair from crying because she didn't want to eat it. As you can guess she screamed when she fell. It makes sense because she was only three months old" Pearl sighed and rubbed her own head and said to Chole" You were not supposed to be feeding her that young. That is why she did not want it. You have to wait until the baby can sit up before you feed them baby food" By the time Pearl said that, Chole had already left to feed Mackenzie. Now she could tell Mackenzie was very hungry because she was screaming and it sounded like she had gotten very hurt. "Chole are you ok on your own with Mackenzie?" Yesterday was my mom's birthday. it was fun. Wednesday i have surgery to get a G-J tube. When i was little the tube didn't work so hopefully it does. Cosy our daycare baby is here today. I will write more of the Lost Orphans another time.

Today i had to get surgery to get a different gjtube put back in because it was in the wrong place and it fell out. In two weeks we are hoping to get rid of the jtube. The other choice in to put my jtube in a different place by my gjtube to hopefully to keep it from leaking. i will update the next time i get a chance.

My sister Bella has a cold. She hurt her wrist in gymnastics. Cosy's family moved away two months ago. If you want to see a picture of her, hover over the picture above. I am not going to write more of the Lost Orphans. But i will maybe start a story sometime soon. My gj tube has gotten in the wrong place five times. This gj tube i have has been in for 12 weeks. Tomorrow it will be 13 weeks. I will write more later.

My gj tube has been in for 4 months. On Christmas Eve, me and my siblings are going to open our presents. Then we are going to my grandparents house Christmas day. It has been cold outside but i have been able to go play outside. My neropathy hurts today. I will update later.

Wow. I haven't updated in a long time Today my tube hurts. I went for a walk yesterday. It was fun. I like to swing outside and swim. I love to to listen to music and to play with my dog. I also love babies. I have lots of stories i am working on writing. I will put more of the Lost Orphans on here later. I hope everyone who reads this is having a good day! I will update later.

Hi! Today i am going to share some funny jokes and some of my favorite bible verses. I memorized this one: Psalm 23: "The Lord is my Shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his names sake. Even though i walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and i will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." I love this one because it talks about the Lord being our Shepherd and being there for us. It also comforts me in hard times. Another one of my favorites(I have lots of favorites) is Psalm 119:105:"Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light unto my path." This one is a good one for when you are having a hard time and when you can't understand why you are going through hard times. Now time for some jokes! Why did the lion spit out the clown? Because he tasted funny! Why did the turkey cross the road? To prove he wasn't chicken! What do you get if you cross a angry sheep and moody cow? A animal thats in a baaaaaad moooood! Hello! Today i will share some more jokes. I will also give you a update on how my pain is. First, some jokes! What day of the week are most twins born? Twos-day! What did the left eye say to the right eye? Between us, something smells! What did the beach say to the tide? Long time, no sea! Why do fish live in salt water? Because pepper makes them sneeze! What do you give a sick lemon? Lemon aid! Now a update on my pain. My neropathy still hurts but my bladder feels better right now. Its so nice outside! But next week it is going to snow. I hope you are having a good day today! Today I am going to write some facts about animals! Wolves can roam long distances, sometimes up to 12 miles! A single wolf can be up to 5 ft in length, standing at 3 ft. A rhinoceros horn in made of hair. Elephants are the only animal that can't jump. A snail can sleep for three years. Sea otters hold hands when they sleep to keep from drifting apart. Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards. Animals amaze me. They are a part of Gods amazing creation! Hi! Some of today has been tough. I had a couple of different pains. Neropathy, stomach, and tube pain. I try to distract myself by petting my dog or doing something i love like coloring. (For those of you who don't know, I have pain often.) Distraction sometimes helps. Texting my friends has been a good distraction lately. :) It is supposed to snow today! I am excited to sled if it snows enough. I got a robe for christmas and it has been keeping me warm. I got a idea. I am going to ask a question and then you can email me your answer.
